Supplements I Take

HMF Replete Probiotic – Genestra - HMF Replete is the highest potency HMF product containing a minimum of 130 billion CFU of L. acidophilus, B. bifidum, B. lactis, and L. salivarius in each sachet. I take 1/5 of a sachet each morning before breakfast.

Lipotropic Complex – Integrative Therapy – liver support – combines phytonutrients, the best plant-based compounds, with bile salts to support the liver naturally. While I was symptomatic, I took 2 capfuls twice a day. I gradually reduced that to 1 capsule twice a day.

Buffered Vitamin C Powder – Nutricology – high- purity ascorbic acid buffered with carbonates of potassium, calcium and magnesium. For years I was taking 2 tsps. one in morning on empty stomach  and one at night. But since I've been on the Gaps diet and feeling healthy, I am able to reduce my Vitamin C to one heaping night.

Natural Calm – Ionic magnesium citrate (created from a highly absorbable proprietary blend of citric acid and magnesium carbonate). I began taking 2 rounded tsps a day when I first started Natural Calm. I’ve reduced  my daily amount to one  full tsp with Vitamin C Powder at night.

Raw Enzymes for WomenGarden of Life – When I was symptomatic, I took 1 capsule before each meal. I gradually reduced this to 1 to 2 capsules a day.

Monolauren – 2-3 capsules before bed – 550 mgs. per capsule. Potent anti-viral and immune system support.

Atomidine – energized iodine for thyroid protection and support. All I need is one drop once a day. Protects the thyroid and  energy booster.

Nature’s Life Soft Gelatin Multiple Vitamin and Minerals -  2 capsules after breakfast.

Chlorgen Chlorella Whole Algae – Genestra Brands – 2-3 capsules to help me detox.  Chlorgen provides an excellent source of chlorella pyrenoidosa extract to specifically assist with detoxification of heavy metals and chemical pollutants, as well as to increase energy levels. Chlorella, cultured in pure water, is a green micro-algae providing the highest concentration of chlorophyll and phytonutrients, as well as over 70 macro and micro-minerals. Research indicates that regular use of chlorella can help to guard against heart disease, reduce high blood pressure, lower serum cholesterol levels, improve digestion and promote the growth of beneficial anerobic bacteria in the gut. If you are taking warfarin or blood-thinning medication, do not use.

Coenzyme Q10 – 100mg – 1 softgel a day. Coenzyme Q10, also called CoQ10 or ubiquinone, is a natural substance essential for cellular energy production. It is an antioxidant that scavenges free radicals throughout the body and is also involved in maintaining normal heart function. CoQ10 works well with vitamin E and other antioxidants.

Vitamin E 400iu – 1 a day. Antioxidant that protects the body’s cells.

Evening Primrose Oil –  1300mgs. -1 softgel a day. Essential fatty acids and female health.

Betaine HCL with Pepsin – Betaine – 650 mg and Pepsin – 162 mg. When I began taking Betaine HCL with Pepsin, I could only tolerate ¼ capsule before meals. I slowly worked my way up to one full capsule with meals.  I use either Twinlabs or Solaray. After being on The Gaps Diet, I reduced this to one capsule a day with dinner. I have healed to the point that this supplement isn't necessary for me anymore.

Barlean's Cod Liver Oil -  lemonade flavor - excellent source of  Omega-3's, EPA and DHA and Vitamin A and D.
